Special Needs
At Higham Eye Care we are fully adaptable to patients with special needs as we have an autistic family member. Both Tricia and Hannah are very used to adapting their routine. Just knowing that we will understand can put patients and their parents or carers at ease.
Higham Eye Care will always be happy to discuss how best to make someone’s visit as relaxed and stress free as possible. This may mean familiarisation visits, a visual story or just meeting us beforehand. Please ask us how we can help.
Hannah has a basic understanding of British Sign Language having studied to level 2 BSL.
We also stock a range of frames for both adults and children with Down’s syndrome.
There is free parking close by and wheelchair access throughout the practice.
