Contact Lenses
Contact lenses are a popular alternative or addition to wearing glasses. At Higham Eye Care we can perform a thorough Contact Lens Assessment if you have an up to date eye examination. We will discuss with you your needs and requirements to ascertain the best and most suitable type of contact lenses you need - daily, two weekly, monthly soft or Gas Permeable lenses. Multifocal contact lenses are also available for some prescriptions.
Once the full Assessment and fitting process has been carried out we will teach you how to insert and remove the lenses so that you are confident in using them yourself.
More regular contact lens checks (Aftercares) are carried out after your initial fit - often 1 month, 6 months and 1 year after the initial fit and thereafter ongoing annual Aftercares ensure that you maintain good eye health whilst using contact lenses.
If you already wear contact lenses, at Higham Eye Care we will be happy to carry out an Aftercare and supply you with new contact lenses providing your current contact lenses are still suitable for your eyes.
